Shrimp and Dungeness Crab Louie Salad

Fresh cooked shrimp, dungeness crab, aparagus, tomato, avocado, egg, louie dressing. I take out the tomato (currently avoiding “nightshade” vegetables), and sub out lemon wedges for the louie dressing. Yum!

A walk to lunch seaside al fresco at The Deck on Laguna Beach, April 15, 2015. This is a great way to spend a few hours on a sunny day. Start at Crescent Bay Park and take the secret stairs down to Circle way to get on to Cliff Drive. Follow the road pass the many quiet coves of north Laguna to reach the meandering paths of Heisler Park. From there it won’t be long before you arrive at Main Beach. Either walk the sand or take Coast Hwy to Sleepy Hollow Lane to arrive at The Deck for a delicious lunch overlooking the Pacific. Reservations recommended. Allow 30 minutes for the walk.
