Bright winter sun

white cloud puffs float above the horizon

gleaming ocean beneath

bright shiny white

shimmery reflections on the surface of the sea

up close ocean glistens with white flickers

flashing silver like white caps in the wind

bright ripples on the ocean of life

farther out the sea moves like a gently billowing fabric

to and fro, currents shifting

lost in motion

I watch my breath like waves on the ocean of life

moving with the flow

floating in the moment

without purpose

lost inside a beautiful now
